Step 1: Close of air vent to prevent losing rubber cap of Air Vent Spigot.*
Step 2: Remove the air vents by levering out sideways, with a flat bladed
tool.
Step 3: Remove the two screws, one in each side of the recess, and remove
the whole assembly
Step 4: Place the bracket over the top of the assembly so that the plate
overhangs the vent.
Step 5 Locate the bracket with the right hand screw.
Step 6. Refit the assembly and vent.

*Note: Care must be exercised when removing the air vent as there is a small
rubber cap over the plastic spigot (used to provide frictional retention of
air vent position). Losing the rubber cap down the air ventilation system
will result in replacement of all the assembly! VW do not stock this rubber
cap as a spare item.
