2004 Year Models with 6000 series radio units require bespoke radio removal tools

2004 instructions

1. Unclip the gear shift surrounds.

2. Unclip the housing incorporating the cup holder.

3. Remove the radio/screen with four Ford radio tools.

4. Disconnect, retaining the radio code.

5. Remove the two Torx screws in the rear side walls of the recess.

6. Lever the whole framework forwards.

7. Unclip the panel housing the clock and vent assembly.

8. Locate the bracket over the upper right vent, adhering the double sided tape to the fascia below.

9. Refit all parts in reverse.

1. Unclip the vent assembly.

2. Locate the bracket over the vent, adhering the double sided tape to the fascia below.

3. Unclip the switch panel beneath to cable away.

4. Refit the panel and vent assembly
