1. Place car in 'Drive'.

2. Unclip the gear shift surround with a flat bladed tool. Slide it back carefully to avoid the clips scratching the panel.

3. Unclip the fascia panel~: tilt it towards the steering wheel.

4. Place the bracket in the right of the recess so that the arm rests on the plastic escutcheon below the 'Tilt' button: mark where the self tapper is required.

5. Locate the bracket with a self tapper.

6. Refit all parts in reverse.
