71156 TOYOTA AVENSIS 2003> Console

1. For automatic transmission cars, engage neutral and twist off the gear selector.

2. Unclip the gear shift panel and remove.

3. Remove the two 10mm bolts at the base of the centre console.

4. Lever the fascia out some 15/20mm: slide the bracket in behind the steel framework.

5. Refit the fascia, bolts and gear shift assembly.

NB To remove the radio also remove the drink holder assembly and the two bolts behind this trim to enable the extraction of the radio unit.
