Step 1: Unclip the trim that traverses the glove box/air bag; this lips into the H shaped trim around the ashtray. NB To unclip the ashtray trim you will need to remove the upper trim on the driver’s side and care is required as the lower tabs are fragile.

Step 2: Locate the bracket with the 7mm bolt in the recess where these two trims overlap.

Step 3. Refit all parts
