71437 - Subaru Legacy/Outback '99 - '03

Step 1: Unscrew the gear knob and pull the gear panel straight up at the rear. Do this gently as it will prevent the two front locating tabs from breaking

Step 2: Remove the small storage bin and the ashtray. Remove the 2 screws on each side of the centre console.

Step 3: Remove the screw in the back of the ashtray.

Step 4: Remove the two screws in the front edge of the ashtray trim and remove this housing.

Step 5: Unclip the fascia panel completely.

Step 6: Locate the bracket with the two screws to the left of the radio.

Step 7: Refit parts in reverse.
