71299 Mondeo 2004> Instructions
1. Remove the 6000 series radio utilising the removal tools. Only disconnect
the power supply if you have the radio code.
Set the unit aside.
When inserting the radio tools, exert caution and only depress to the 46mm marker
on the tools: the clips are extremely fragile.
2. Remove the two Torx screws in each side of the radio aperture.
3. Unclip the fascia around the clock.
4. Remove the two screws in this recess.
5. Lever out the entire console framework by some 4/5 cm.
6. Slide the bracket between the right edge of the framework and console wall
at radio level.
7. Locate the bracket with Torx screw
8. Refit the parts in reverse.
NB If the fascia panel requires complete removal for the application of a an
interface cable, then unclip the gear lever trim and the two phillips
screws at the base of the console panel. These are slightly hidden and
will need locating with a torch.

Ford Mondeo Console 2004 - May 07 instructions
1. Unclip the gear shift surrounds.
2. Unclip the housing incorporating the cup holder.
3. Remove the radio with four Ford radio tools.
4. Remove the clock rim and the two Torx screws in the recess.
5. Disconnect, retaining the radio code.
6. Remove the two Torx screws in the rear side walls of the recess.
7. Lever the whole framework forwards and slide the bracket between the inner trim and console.
8. Align with the Torx screw in the side wall (5) and fix in place.
9.
Refit all parts in reverse.
