Simple Installation

Remove the ashtray and the two retaining screws beneath

At the single bladed end of the plate secure the aluminium spar underneath via the locating hole with the longer Phillips head screw.

Grip the double arm of the plate onto the rear of the aperture around the veneer whilst twisting the aluminium clamp horizontally in the recess and tightening fully to secure in place.

Extended Installation

This involves removing the veneer panel to enable covert cabling via the ashtray aperture.

Lift up the arm rest and lever out the female storage tray clip assembly and remove the two black phillips screws and the plastic cover to reveal a further phillips head screw, remove this.

Lever out the cigar lighter and the badge ( or substitute trim in place of the badge on some models). Loosen ( DO NOT REMOVE)  the two bolts if applicable on early cars, enabling the veneer panel to be lifted out.

Repeat the simple instructions after cabling is complete
