1. Remove the cigar lighter, the rubber mat in the storage tray and the two Phillips screws beneath the ashtray.

2. Using a flat bladed tool and protective cloth, unclip the lower rear trim around the gear selector and window switches.
Disconnect the feeds to the switches for improved access.
USE CAUTION AS IT IS FIRMLY FIXED IN PLACE AND AVOID SCRATCHING THE UPPER PANEL WHEN LIFTING CLEAR.

3. Remove the two Phillips screws securing the ashtray assembly to the upper console trim.

4. Pull the upper fascia panel directly out.

5. Locate the bracket with the upper left screw securing the climate control unit.

6. Refit the parts in reverse order.
