1. Lift arm rest up, and remove the ashtray.

2. Unclip the veneer gear shift surround, taking care not to mark the leather surrounds.

3. Locate the bracket with the left upper bolt securing the gear shift plate.

4. Refit the trim and ashtray.

NB To remove the radio, lift up the arm rest, unclip the gear shift trim. Remove the rear ashtray assembly and the two bolts behind. Lift up the entire transmission console and remove the two bolts at the base of the centre console.
