1. Remove the radio if factory fitted, using the Audi radio tools.

2. Remove the blanks either side of the radio and the screws beneath each.

3. Remove the two 8mm bolts adjacent to these escutcheons.

4. Remove the three heater switches and the screws behind.

For models with air con or climate control the fascia trim will unclip in one piece leaving the heater matrix in situ.

5. Unclip the centre console fascia.

6. Locate the bracket with hex nut to the left of the radio framework.
